I Play Reporter

A couple of weeks ago, a car jumped the curb and ended up wrecked near the bottom of the main staircase of a famous courthouse (it's the one that is featured in the TV show "Law and Order"). This is right across from where I work, so I went down there to mingle among the gawking masses:




I don't think anyone was killed, though a few were seriously injured.

I sometimes think about a career in photography, but I don't believe that one in reporting would suit me. I'm just not interested in the "accurate documentation" aspect of photography. Anyway, I got bored with the scene pretty quickly and instead took some pictures of random folks nearby. Here is a man who seemed like he was in charge:




Doesn't he look like the Guy in Charge, even if he isn't? Right out of central casting. And here's a guy who's trying to listen in on a reporter's interview with an eyewitness. I love his hair:




Finally, as I walked away to get my lunch, I saw these ladies coming toward me. Love the velour:
