Defect
My camera's been acting up again. Every so often, for no discernible reason, it takes pictures that are completely green. Not grass green, but a bright, hideous neon green.
The only way to use these green images is to convert them to black and white, since there are no color values recorded. I don't do B&W photography, though much of the photography that I like is B&W.
Here is one of my accidental attempts at B&W, converted from a neon-green original:
Corner of Fifth Avenue and W. 25th Street.
I don't dislike the result, but believe that the color version would've been better. The balloons were bright pink, I recall, and really jumped out in the afternoon light.

Again, this version is OK, but I recall that the tattoo was a particularly colorful one.
