Serendipity

Ninth Avenue in the West 40s, January 2009:

I took this photograph on January 3rd, but only came upon it a few minutes ago.  Today is of course Valentine's Day.  Entirely accidental; I'm slowly plodding my way through a 6-week backlog of images.

I like the 6-week lag.  Enough time for me to forget what I had shot, but not so long for it to be old news.
