P & S
Bought yesterday a little ol' "point-and-shoot" as a handy back-up for our upcoming trip to Guatemala.
Some lunchtime shots. Christmas in July, Duane & Church:
Office window, Lafayette Street:
(Just what are those mice doing to that bear?)
"The Figure Skater Dress," Spring & Crosby:
I quite like it. Though s-l-o-w as molasses, and awful in low light, the camera has easily accessible manual controls that let me do the driving (instead of the mini CPU inside). Given the inherent limitations, that's good enough; it is what it is.
Small cameras get a lot of flak; but what the heck do people expect from such tiny things (with dinky lenses & even dinkier sensors)? It is what it is.
(And, of course, if Polaroids can be made to sing ... )
