Street

For those who like to take photographs of people, Guatemala is not an easy destination. The Maya, who are a majority of the population overall (and overwhelmingly so in the parts we visited), are famously averse to being photographed.  


I respect those concerns.  Really.  But I'm weak, and sometimes the photographic impulse overwhelms the better instincts.
